To start, it is worth clarifying certain things on DOGE operations. The original field for Doge was that it would be an advisory group led by Musk, who donated about a quarter of a billion dollars to the re -election offer from Trump, and Vivek Ramaswamy, a biotechnology entrepreneur who briefly presented GOP’s presidential ticket in 2024. After Trump took office and Ramaswamy left to go to the post of governor of Ohio, he turned into something I think we can all say a little more official.
The administration has chosen to take the American digital service, an office under the direct control of the White House that works on the government, and to rename it as an American service. There is some confusion that is currently the service administrator. In legal deposits, the Ministry of Justice does not obviously identify this person, in addition to denying that Musk, who is described as a presidential adviser without legal power, held this position.
Trump and Musk seem to be different minds on this subject: the president declared in the public statements that he appointed Musk to direct Doge, and Musk clearly seems to be behind his daily operations. All this confusion is, among other things, terribly ineffective. Anyway, Musk cannot be supposed to serve as a Doge leader forever. It is the CEO of several listed companies on the stock market and some private, some of which are not too good. Like cincinnatus returning to his plow, Musk also one day will come back to his Cybertruck.
