SerpentAU, an Australian Fortnite YouTuber once admired for his gaming skills, is now implicated in a $3.5 million crypto fraud involving coin scams.
ZachXBT, blockchain investigator related SerpentAU has a series of account takeovers (ATOs) targeting high-profile individuals and organizations, such as McDonald’s and meme coin creator Kabosu.
These hacked accounts promoted fraudulent cryptocurrencies, misleading investors and funneling profits into wallets linked to SerpentAU, which allegedly used the funds on gaming platforms like Stake and Roobet.
SerpentAU’s downfall began in 2020 when it was kicked out of Overtime Gaming after allegations of cheating. In 2022, he co-founded blockchain projects like DAPE and ERROR, both of which failed amid accusations of fraud. Its shift to crypto scams deepened, leaving victims with significant financial losses and further tarnishing its reputation.
