Six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen is making headlines again, this time for being very bullish on Bitcoin. On Wednesday, Chicago Bulls star Pippen addressed his more than 674,400 X (formerly Twitter) followers and said: “Bullish on Bitcoin” with the hashtag #BeLikeSatoshi.
Since then, it has become a hot topic of discussion among its supporters within the cryptocurrency sphere.
Pippen’s Bitcoin Dream and Price Predictions
What’s even more interesting about Pippen’s statements is the fact that he linked them to Satoshi Nakamotothe pseudonymous founder of Bitcoin.
In the previous tweet, Pippen appeared to have claimed that in a dream, Satoshi predicted that the price of Bitcoin would reach $84,650 on November 5, 2024.

This has been received with mixed reactions from fans on the network, as some are excited about this prospect while others have doubted that such a prognosis – based on a dream – will become reality.
Many community members agreed with Pippen, especially since the price of Bitcoin is now hovering around $57,070 after a recent 4.5% rally. After two months, the idea that the price of Bitcoin will fall at this point is being examined more closely to see what could cause it to rise.
Some analysts believe that factors such as planned interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve could further drive Bitcoin prices higher.

Reaction from the crypto community
However, most reactions regarding Pippen’s tweet were in support. The official account of crypto exchange Kraken even posted a light-hearted remark: “Bulls will always be bulls, right Scottie?
A response like this from larger platforms makes Pippen’s bullish stance even more interesting. X users started asking him what he thought about different altcoins and proved that his influence went far beyond just Bitcoin.
Satoshi Nakamoto visited me in my dream last night and predicted that #Bitcoin would be at $84,650 on November 5, 2024. This is not financial advice.

This excitement was further heightened when Pippen made a teasing remark to fellow Bitcoiner Michael Saylor. Recently, Saylor appeared in an interview with CNBC, in which he went so far as to predict that Bitcoin could reach $13 million per coin in the next 21 years.
Pippen responded to this lofty prediction from Saylor by playfully asking if Satoshi had told him this in a dream. This light-hearted exchange showed how public figures are increasingly playing with the cryptocurrency narrative – a mix of humor and serious discussions about investing.
Overview
Celebrities are becoming more and more interested in cryptocurrencies like Pippen. As more celebrities promote Bitcoin, their followers are also interested in digital currencies. The potential for Bitcoin to become a mainstream asset is increasing, especially with the upcoming US presidential elections, where candidates like Donald Trump have displayed a pro-crypto stance.
