As Bitcoin rises from $80,000 to $92,000 and then back down, the majority of the crypto market moves with it.
But there is one exception, and that is a new coin called Cutoshi. The project, currently in the pre-sale phase, is up 72% since the first stage.
Cutoshi Takes First Place in Global Trends on X
The project went wild this week after trending on X, reaching #1 globally and also in the US. This attracted many new followers to their social networks.
And that’s not all since the project has also opened its doors to community quests and challenges, where people can earn extra tokens by doing fun things like creating memes, chatting with other community members , and much more.
Token farming – both fun and smart
According to a Cutoshi spokesperson, more than 1,500 people are currently engaged in the quests. The project added a quest (aka symbolic agriculture) on their homepage, to gamify the process and encourage people to reach number 1. First places will receive more tokens and will also receive special rewards.
The logic behind this is threefold:
- Getting people engaged and enjoying the project to create a fun community atmosphere,
- Make Cutoshi known,
- Allow people to grow or refill their bags with $CUTO, as a thank you for their early participation.
What does Cutoshi mean?
This last point brings us to the ethos of Cutoshi. Although presented as a meme coin, based on the prosperity-bringing Lucky Cat figurine, the token resembles Shiba Inu more than Pepecoin or Dogwifhat. This is due to its real ecosystem use case as a place where people can come to learn and interact with DeFi.
The team says they are inspired by the ideals of Satoshi Nakamoto and are committed to introducing more people to the benefits of decentralized finance.
Given that meme coins have been one of the most explosive sectors in crypto this year, it makes sense that this is a great way to reach people and bring them the potential for returns on investment that only early-stage meme coins can achieve.
But rather than being a mere flash in the pan (as many coins are), Cutoshi’s DeFi focus – combined with its fun approach – has the potential to make it a sustainable project.
What will the project do?
The Cutoshi ecosystem will include a DEX with utility-based NFTs and a nice 8-bit style learning academy. The idea is to make learning DeFi fun and make it simple to use. Reconciliation and switching from one chain to another is difficult, time consuming and can even be risky.
Since Cutoshi’s DEX will be cross-chain, with a fun user interface, this will remove the barriers to entry that prevent many people from participating in DeFi.
Cutoshi’s future plans include a store for purchasing goods, where people can pay with the native token $CUTO. This spreads the love for the lucky cat while giving the currency real value. And while most courses will be free in their learning academy, there will be paid options for the most advanced levels, also payable in $CUTO.
The project also reserved 7% of the tokens for a buyback and burn system, similar to projects like Shiba Inu, BNB, etc. With carefully thought-out tokenomics and a solid roadmap, Cutoshi is a project worth exploring, before the token price rises further.
